At last I finally got out to do some Plein Air Painting by the sea. I have never painted the ocean, and I found it quite enjoyable. Nice breeze in my face, and my beautiful girlfriend by my side, brushes in hand. I havent been out of Fresno in six months, and this was literally the first time getting out of town since arriving from my last expedition. Fresno hasn’t been that bad compared to being in Cairo. Cairo is a hell hole and Im constantly thankful for not being stuck there. I used to complain about Fresno all the time, but not since going to Cairo for a week which seemed really more like a month.
I finally feel recovered from all the insanity that you can read about in the old blog posts. I don’t recommend reading those. Anyhow…
This little guy was painted in the parking lot of pirates cove near Avila Beach. What a sweet spot to paint. Ill be going back to that spot for some more, most definitely. The next spot I painted was on the beach at Montana De Oro up the coast from San Luis Obispo.
